Information for our Guests
Reception hours: The best time to meet us is in the morning between 10am and 12pm. You can find us on our terrace at this time to pay, get information or buy our organic wine or honey. We are happy to inform you about hiking routes, village festivals etc.
Laundry:If you change towels and sheets during your stay, please put the used linen in the laundry basket. This way we can always bring you a new change of linen.
Do not leave the key inside. If the wind blows the door shut, it can't be opened from the outside with a spare key and we have to call the locksmith from Evdilos.
Toilets:Do not throw toilet paper, wet wipes etc. into the toilet. Waste water is disposed of in a septic tank.
In strong winds: Collect sunshades and awnings.
Please do not use sun cream when lying on white sheets or towels, otherwise discolouration will occur. Use your own beach towels when taking a sunbath.
Water the plants The flower pots and/or flower beds on the terrace must be watered thoroughly every 2nd day. Please let us know if you would like to take on this task. Otherwise, one of us will come to water them in the early evening.
Please feed the cats only on the terrace or on the street. They are not allowed inside. Please do not use our crockery. Put the pillows upright at night.
Rubbish removal in the bin on the street. Unfortunately, waste separation does not work on the island. So you don't have to make any extra effort.
Hot water is obtained from solar panels. If many guests take a hot shower in the evening, it can happen that there is only lukewarm water in the morning before 10/11 o'clock. Water is becoming a rare good in the Mediterranean, so please help save water: take a short shower, collect the running water in buckets until it gets warm and give it to the plants...
Washing machine for shared use:Please put a contribution towards expenses of €4 in the tin. Always add some Calgon. Please hang up your laundry promptly to dry so that the facilities can be used by the other guests.
Wine and honey from organic production We sell wine from our own or local cultivation, as well as the delicious Ikaria honey. Wine: 1l = 5€ Honey: 500g jar or can for 6€
