The marvellous endless view of the deep blue Aegean Sea, the sound of the sea, the peace and quiet and the clear air promise pure relaxation.
Feel at home in our cosy flats with huge terraces surrounded by flower gardens.
The holiday complex consists of the main house Villa Dimitri with 5 holiday flats and the newer Villa Andromeda with 4 flats. The villas are surrounded by flowering terraced gardens, vineyards, fruit and olive trees.
Villa Dimitri is located directly above the sea 800 metres west of Armenistis,
on the fertile and lovely western side of Ikaria on a small coastal road.
Landstrasse.
Villa Dimitri is terraced and extends over six levels. Each of the five apartments has one or more large terraces or gardens with flowers and a sea view.
The Mediterranean architecture, framed by lush planting, blends harmoniously into the landscape.
Villa Dimitri houses (from top to bottom) the flats Apollon, Artemis, Dimitra, Afrodite, Dionysos and Poseidon.
The architecture of the newer Villa Andromeda enchants with its attention to detail and its marvellous terraces.
Every outdoor space is a composition for the eye, a harmonious symphony of Mediterranean architecture and garden design against the backdrop of the Aegean Sea.
Villa Andromeda accommodates 4 flats: the spacious and comfortable holiday flat Andromeda for 2-4 persons, the modern studio Pegasos for 2 persons and two comfortable flats Agamemnon and Iphigenia for 2-4 persons on the lowest level.
Ikaria, spared from mass tourism, is a paradise for individual travellers, nature and hiking enthusiasts. On the lovely, green northern side of Ikaria you will find extensive pine forests, green river valleys with plane trees and blooming oleanders and unspoilt villages.
The maximum temperatures in summer are just over 30 degrees, but thanks to the north wind Meltemi they are often lower, which makes Ikaria a great holiday destination in the Mediterranean.
The most beautiful sandy beaches in Ikaria are located near Armenistis and the neighbouring villages of Galiskari and Nas. The most touristic area of Ikaria is not overcrowded even during the summer months.
Restaurants, cafés and bars provide culinary variety, both on the coast and in the nearby mountain villages of the municipality of Raches. The price level in Ikaria is moderate.
In summer, the ever-popular Panagiris take place, where the village saints are celebrated with music, dancing, roast mountain goat and delicious Ikaria wine.
